2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is behind in Math & Reading due to her being diagnosed with a learning disability in March of 2023.... I requested a team's meeting back in 2021 due to me seeing signs if something wrong. I expressed over and over to them that my child needs an IEP plan or even a 504 plan. They are no help. They do not want to accept the responsibility of my child being behind because they are blaming me for attendance and attendance is not the case my child missed 12 days throughout in entire school year due to Flu & Strap Throat Twice. Come to find out I am not the only parent that's fighting for help. My child is entering th 3rd grade and still no improvement and she's constantly being taught and remind at home. She can't grasp basic concepts hence of the learning disability come in AT.Parent Review2y ago3 Reviews - Magnolia Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average2019-2020 Was the worse year at Magnolia Elementary. No school activities that were promoted by PTA. No respect for students and their families. No respect for the teachers and staff. The principal needs racial sensitivity training and not be a principal. Well qualified individuals who would connect out community and make our children feel proud to be who they are.Parent Review5y ago2 Reviews - William Paca/Old Post Road Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy two children recently transferred to Abington Elementary School. because my children are new the area and still adapting to their surroundings I decided my children should be car riders. On their second day of school I arrive to the school to pick my children up and they are no where to be found while in the car rider line I was informed by a staff member that Someone had called the school and made other arrangements for my children transportation home knowing I had not made that call nor Had I instructed anyone to make that call on my behalf I became immediately concerned and panic I parked my vehicle to make my way to the main office. As I was walking I was stopped by a staff member she ask where I was going I explained my children are missing that the school had lost my children her response was ok and she continued with the dismissal with no regards to what I had just mentioned. At this point I concluded that I was on my own to find my children without any assistance from the administration team or staff members on duty i began searching for my own children. I decided to call a neighbor to find out if they happened to know the bus number for our community. While still frantic and still in panic mode a women approaches me and begins to scream in my face and ear that she will ban me I later found out that she was the principal .Stacey Gerringer (principle) at no point had she offered any assistance she never announced who she was and showed no sympathy ,consideration, or compassion of what I was going Thur. She sent out a massive email to all parents and staff members referring to me as a disrupt parent with failure to mention that they had lost my children. Not knowing rather or not If I had found my children She had police come to my house and ban me for 1 year off school property knowing I’m a single parent and my children only means of transportation to and from school this shows she doesn’t have my children education or best interest at hand. An although I’d much rather have police come and ban me rather then tell me something happened to my children I still feel the situation is unjustified there was no apology no mediation or meeting to resolve this issue so it doesn’t happen again .Parent Review4y ago7 Reviews - Mountain Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is small and family oriented. When I brought my Boys here I was concerned that the curriculum was not going to be up to standards with the surrounding public schools. Not only is their program is their program up to date, they are surpassing and their students are reaping the benefits! Their reading and math program are fantastic! They also have a fabulous theater and arts program. I love this school!Parent Review12y ago4 Reviews - St. Stephen School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am currently a parent at St. Stephen School. My son has been attending since preK 3. It has never crossed my mind to check for other options in the area. Both my kids love their teachers, friends and we as parents love the community and friendships we have formed. I have in the past and will recommend any time someone asks for a good elementary/ middle schoolParent Review1y ago36 Reviews
