I used to go to this school a few years ago and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The place is infested with rats, the teachers rarely try when it comes to the education, and its entirely just disorganized. The building is dirty, smelly, and run down, and compared to the schools in nearby counties

I was recently a student from Matthew Henson Middle School, I promoted to the 9th grade attending Henry E Lackey. I can tell you there are a lot of problems regarding this school, fight, drug use, and much much more. Yes, there are some good people within the Staff of Henson, but overall this school

My daughter loves the teachers and the whole school environment. The staff is really trying their best to stay engaged with families. I approve this school.

Extremely bad experience from bullying to fights on regular bases. Didn’t seem as organized at all kids all over the place. Some staff members showed lack of experience and professionalism like the six grade administrator interim.
