Posted by a community member on 1/10/2015With the help of a grant, every student now has their own iPad, so technology has emerged in every classroom. It has been wonderful for students as well as staff. The kids love them and have been very responsible with them! Our students will be ready for the changing world! So thankful to work here!

I've been very happy with the programs they have in place to challenge children who are advanced, and to encourage children who need a little extra help. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageRockland Woods Elementary School is a decent school for students that do not have learning differences. The school does create and hold interesting family-oriented gatherings for the students. The Washington County Public Schools (WCPS) as a whole is not supportive to neurotypical students that require accommodations and services to support the student to thrive in the educational setting. It is INCREDIBLY hard to even have your child evaluated for learning services and support. When you can get the school to agree to assess your child, they do the bare minimum testing, AT BEST. The actual teachers are SO HELPFUL and SUPPORTIVE; however, the teachers are not supported as well, and it prevents teachers from appropriately supporting the students.
