i remember at Resnik ES getting yelled at by some lower school teachers for not addressing every kid as a hall monitor, getting cussed out by other kids, and getting psychically bullied and the principal not believing me, saying i should have spoken up sooner, and letting the kid get away scott free
Posted by a community member on 10/3/2025At least when i went there, the teachers and staff may have been great, but the principal discouraged 5th graders from drinking water, and wouldn't let us use the bathroom other then recess and lunch. Not to mention multiple students were harassed and bullied, some physically, and the principal did

Number 2 Administrative office needs to change Resnik needs a new Vice Principal and Princ

The PTA is very active and have tons of events for the students and staff throughout the year. I am so happy to be a part of the Resnik family. This school

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has attended Strawberry Knoll from Kindergarten and is now graduating from 5th grade. All of the teachers my son has had have been wonderful and they care. Before the Pandemic and throughout they have always gone above and beyond. The school is diverse, the Principal Mr. Scott is great and gets to know the students individually. They have a lot of events and activities to include the family. I am very happy with the education my son received at Strawberry Knoll. If your child is shy or has challenges, they will find the "Knoll" to be a safe inclusive environment. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe elementary school is acceptable, (and why I gave 2 stars and not 1) but it used to be excellent. Before COVID, the school had strong leadership under a principal who was a Godly man who set a clear tone and high standards. After he left, the overall quality declined significantly.The upper school (6th grade and above) has been especially disappointing. Since COVID, the school has grown too quickly and does not seem to have managed that growth well. In my experience, this has led to the hiring of teachers and assistants who appear unprepared or severely unqualified, and the academic environment and overall student moral has suffered as a result.Before COVID, this school was a very different place and I would have recommended it without hesitation. Today, based on our experience and in talking to other parents and students, I would not recommend the school. At this point, I would suggest that families seriously consider other options. Even public school should be considered over this school. In its current state, (since 2020) I believe this school may do more harm than good for many students.Parent Review2mo ago
