I just graduated from this school, from K-5 it was okay. The teachers don't give homework a lot it's usually just reviews for unit tests. But the way they handle bullying is terrible, people in my 5th grade class could literally make fun of someones ethnicity and call them a name and they won't do a

We have had 3 kids go through Sandymount and they all loved it. Great environment, caring and interactive teachers, and the kids actually enjoyed being in school.

They don't teach proper hand washing nor encourage it before lunch.

There is something special about Sandymount. This Thanksgiving while my son (4th grade) was saying grace, he said, "I'm thankful for good food and a good school". That about sums it up...

We had a very positive experience in the lower school, but unfortunately things changed dramatically once our child entered middle school. The environment became increasingly difficult, with disruptive student behavior being tolerated as the norm. When we raised concerns, the administration’s response was defensive rather than collaborative. Leadership struggled to address issues outside of routine situations, and we often felt problems were mishandled. By the time graduation arrived, we were simply relieved to move on.
