Terrible my daughter is in kindergarten and she rode the bus to school when they got to the school a fourth grader called her names and pushed her on the ground she scraped both her knees the school knew about this it happened around 9 in the morning but the school did not call me until about 2:30 my kindergarten daughter is now scared to get on the bus we had to change her school this is unacceptable

Teacher here are NOT certified by the State. This is a church exempt school. It is operated by church organization & except from holding a certificate of Approval from the state board of education. Students will not receive a state recognized high school diploma.

Excellent School. My boys love their teachers and their friends. Instilling strong values and a passion for learning are the core strengths of this school.

I have had three children go through SSPP Elementary-SSPP High School. I highly recommend SSPP Elementary. The schools are run totally different. SSPP High School has changed in the past few years. There is little to no accountability. If you have a son there is more leniency especially if he is an athlete. It has turned into a bro mentality. There are different rules for different people. At this point you are paying close to $21k for a private school that is being run like a public school. They are more concerned about enrollment numbers, fundraising and the budget. They speak about it not only to the parents but to the students as well. The tuition goes up every year. They will tell you that they are not strictly Catholic, more of a Mind, Body, Spirit approach, students are required to take several religion classes that count toward their GPA. Basically it's like buying a car when you're touring the school. They will tell you what you want to hear. Attending a full Catholic Mass is mandatory for all students. The curriculum is much better than public school. They actually have homework and tests. I would say half of the teachers want to be there and the other half not so much. They advertise as a college prep school, but they do not provide resources other than emails about college fairs, available scholarships, and forwarding transcripts. Sports - they have multiple sports for a small school. Some sports are prioritized over others. They had softball for a period of time but as soon as it took away from the women's lacrosse team it was gone the next year. Coaches vary from one sport to the next. Some are great and some are terrible. They will take whoever they can get. The tennis coach was recently fired for making inappropriate comments to a female police officer. I guess that's where they draw the line. There are several cliques with parents and kids. They do not encourage inclusion in any way. The motto might be Mind, Body, Spirit but that's only an advertisement or in the student handbook. Overall with the changes I would go over the bridge or Salisbury Christian. Schools over the bridge are the same price and Salisbury Christian is half the price.
