Woodlawn Middle School

The lil guy with the glasses who enrolls the children, is really a piece of work. He makes the process very difficult. He is rude and keeps walking away for long periods of time, after he asks me to get information. He isn’t really a person who should be in charge of assisting parents with the enrollment process.

The principal is very good in communicating, environment is peaceful for children, my child 's teacher teaches well with patience

Son went to this school and they have horrible teachers. Principle and ap kept trying to suspend my son constantly even thou he was only in 1sr grade. It wasn’t until I said ok now the suspensions aren’t helping. They also have a teacher who put their hands on my son and lied and said they didn’t. I’ve also noticed how they turned off comments for the whole school on Google. Stay away from this school at all cost or your child will be behind. We moved him to a new school and he currently reading in grade level now and gets compliments on his reading. After waiting for testing I found out he has autism

I went here back in the mid 70’s and into the early 80’s when we still had nuns teaching and there was no screwing around. We were the to get an education and did just that. When we moved to the panhandle of Oklahoma in 1983 I got my first taste of public school. While there was still corporal punishment still dished out and very little screwing around allowed they were like 3 years behind what I had already learned at JPRS. The school name new mark of excellence is a good school for parents to waste there hard earned money on. Parents, if you don't want your children to have a chance in a school that doesn't have any diversity then signing up, will be in your best interest. Parents if you think your children is gay, lesbian, or transgender don't even send them there for an education. Spelling isn't apart of there curriculum, also grammar. The school doesn't prepare the students for college at all, or the world. Don't pay a school for beating your children when you can do that at home if they are acting up in school.
