My child's experience at Govans Elementary has been amazing. The entire school works as a community to support the students both academically and socially/emotionally. Questions, challenges, and opportunities are all addresses in a timely manner with empathy and consideration. It's a beautiful building full of wonderful children and educators, lots of resources, and a caring community of parents.

My children graduated from St. Pius X School in 2012 and 2014. We had a fantastic experience and can not say enough about the success both of my children had as a result of their attendance at this school. My older son received a scholarship to Gilman School after graduating K-8 at St. Pius X School. He has just started his freshman year this Fall at an Ivy League University and he received admission to 2 other Ivy League universities. Several of his St. Pius classmates that graduated in 2012 also went on to achieve MIAA All State honors in high school and attend college on both academic and athletic scholarships. This academic success we attribute to the small class size, attention to detail and discipline by the faculty. Faculty members held the students accountable and they learn at a young age how to step up and accept responsibility for their actions inside and outside the classroom. We are 2 working parents who work OT and often 7 days a week. We relied heavily on the school to not only teach, but also to mentor our children in Christian values and sense of community. The success of the alumni will instill the confidence you are seeking for the future of your children. Enrolling your son or daughter in the St. Pius X School - is the best investment you will make for your child.!

Bryn Mawr is a very good school. The homework load may be a lot but, it has very good teachers and Academics.
