The principal is very nasty special education has no IEP’s they don’t have any teachers so they have substitute teachers. They have aids that’s not train properly the food is horrible. Please get your children out of there. The two principal females are horrible. They don’t care about the special education department at all. They’re scared to come inside the classrooms or even deal with the children.

If your child has any special needs, this is not the school for them. My son has ASD and he was labeled as a bad child. They would call me saying he was crying at least 3 times weekly, while never explaining how they were treating him poorly. I wouldn't send a dog to this school. The staff members are very unprofessional. The principal backs his staff even if they are wrong.

The school is a treasure. The pandemic was difficult for every school system because no one was prepared for virtual learning. Mt.Pleasant suffered some bumps in the road but their students were still successful learners. No student was passed on because of the situation. The school's high academic standards were upheld.
