5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am an Asian and I love that my child is welcomed with so much of warmth. The principal and teachers are very competitive. My child loves going to school and I feel that's where the teachers have won my faith. He does very well at studies. I am so glad that my child goes to City Springs.Parent Review1y ago6 Reviews - Commodore John Rogers Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBeen here for 10 years and I can’t complain, some teachers used to get on my nerves but I knew they was just doing that so I could get to the school I’m going to next year (Poly). We have a great band that’s been going strong for years, and this is coming from someone that is in it. Amazing clubs and sports teams. Overall a great school.Student Review2y ago14 Reviews - Wolfe Street Academy

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWolfe Street Academy has been an excellent experience for our two children in 2016/17. Mr Gaither's active and hands-on leadership is very inspiring to students & parents alike. Ms Gross (3rd) & Ms Bucke (3rd) are amazing teachers who keep tabs on student's academic progress & wholesome development. The admin & support staff are welcoming and always helpful. There is an excellent (free) after school program. The kids are well behaved & friendly. The school does not have dedicated sports facilities but Mr Mavis makes good use of the multi-use hall for indoor sessions and the nearby Patterson Park is used for outdoor sports. It is unfortunate the hard-work of this great team is not reflected in the Test Scores due to the demographics of Fells Point, many of the students are from families that do not speak English as a first language.Parent Review7y ago3 Reviews - Community Initiatives Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe couldn't be happier with our experience at [School Name]. From the moment we enrolled our child, we were impressed by the strong emphasis on family engagement and the supportive learning environment the school fosters. The teachers and staff go above and beyond to ensure that parents are actively involved in their children's education. There are regular opportunities for parents to participate in classroom activities, volunteer for events, and attend workshops that help us understand and support our child's learning journey. The school also hosts family nights, where parents and students can engage in fun, educational activities together, strengthening the bond between home and school.Academically, the school offers a well-rounded curriculum that is both challenging and engaging. Our child has shown tremendous growth, not just in core subjects like reading and math, but also in critical thinking and creativity. The teachers are skilled at differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all students, ensuring that each child is both supported and challenged at their own level.Overall, TNCS has created a welcoming, inclusive community where both students and families are valued and supported. We highly recommend this school to any family looking for a place where their child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.Principal Review1y ago34 Reviews - New Century School The

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent of two young boys, I cannot speak highly enough about our experience with New Century. Our journey has been nothing short of transformative for our family. We were greeted daily with warmth, care, and a genuine commitment to nurturing their development. The Montessori approach, with its emphasis on self-directed learning and individualized attention, has been an incredible fit for both of my children. One of the most striking aspects of this program has been the fostering of independence. Our boys have learned not only academic skills but also essential life skills like problem-solving, decision-making, and time management. They take pride in their ability to choose their activities, work at their own pace, and collaborate with peers. The mixed-age classrooms have been a game-changer. It's truly remarkable to see how younger children learn from older ones and how the older ones naturally become mentors and role models. This dynamic encourages empathy, leadership, and a sense of community that is unlike anything I've seen in traditional educational settings. Our boys have thrived. They have developed a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom. The "Peace Education" component has not only taught our boys conflict resolution skills but has also instilled in them a deep sense of empathy and have learned to appreciate diversity and celebrate differences.Other Review2y ago3 Reviews - St James & John Catolic School
