Dickey Hill Elementary/Middle School

I have nothing but praise for this school. They care about their students and family.

Honustly don't like the location but this school my child received the best service for her disability everywhere else she been transferred to been failing her but this school offered mental health support and help with community issues such as transportation,emergency supplies,etc.There was one issue I had in which I believe the principle just didn't want to be held responsible if something happens but my child was having mental health issues and was suspended and after returning kept getting calls to pick her up but was told by the school previously transferred that she has to be in school all day it doesn't matter what she experiencing if shes not harming herself,other students or the teachers she can stay in a room with specialized adults til she calms down.

My son got told he will be on the streets in 10 years look where he is now in jail they were wrong.

0 this school is one of the worst in the city. No one cares about the kids. Especially if they have special needs.

This school is not good at all. The staff Cuss at students every Day, And they get no consequences at all. The staff are Extremely touchy with the Young ladies that attend that school like they have special relationships. the students run around like they have no home training whatsoever they scream cuss and fight

I absolutely HATED that Child find sent my child here for pre-k! Absolutely worst school ever. I’d rather have my kids taught by wild wolfs than ever send one of my kids here again. The communication between school and parents is absolutely zero no communication at all!

This is a great educational school, they are prepared for any challenges that the students needs. The teachers are skillful and they help to motivate the students, regardless of a student special needs, the school has resources and make sure all needs are addressed.

I love CCL. I tell friends and family members all the time. I would def. recommend the school.Its a small school and has a family like feel. But the school will only be as good as what YOU put in. I volunteer at school and participate in fundraising activities and such. The school is affordable, but there is still a price to pay after tuition and that is your time and energy. If your willing to put that in, then your child's experience there will be great. If not... maybe you should go to a more expensive school where you've paid for more luxuries of not having to be involved or send them to public school.
