So far we have had a really good experience. The teachers are great! Administration seems responsive overall. One area of improvement would be in communication.

Our children have had a positive experience and their teachers are supportive and in communication with us. Even during Covid, we felt that our children were loved and the school was well managed.

The teachers have been in communication with me all along the way and I appreciate that extra effort. Small classrooms, safe environment ... Kids get buss

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a former student of this school, I can say that this was not the best experience ever. In fact, it was the longest 4 years of my life, and very miserable. Early on, they said some kind of thing that I had a disability of some sort, which I did not. I was just a five year old, like goddam. Then I had to see a special teacher, and my kindergarten teacher said that I was very hard and there was something wrong with me. That's what a lot of the school staff thought about me. Legit almost got sent to a special school. And 4th grade was the WORST. Another thing is that girls never got in as much trouble as boys. But isn't that at all schools anyways? Overall, I would not recommend this school if your child is a bit difficult sometimes, as the school will single them out and mark them as a special needs kid. 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn a month, my son will be finishing 5th grade at Mayo Elementary, and we already feel sad about saying good bye to this wonderful school. He loved every teacher he had at Mayo. Personally, I met many Mayo teachers through volunteering experiences, and I am really impressed by what a great team of excellent, caring, enthusiastic and dedicated teachers they have at this school.
