Read what parents are saying about Thomas R Plympton Elementary SchoolThis school is great and truly a gem. Activities during, before, and after school hours are great and enriching. You will see the principal himself at all the events and he is all in on being there for his students, as are all the teachers. The park at the school is brand new and was just redone 2 years ago. The school has walking initiatives when the weather is better, and an event for all the major holidays. Overall, this is a fantastic school and am glad I am able to send my kid here.
Posted by a parent on 4/2/2018School has so many wonderful teachers and resources. My kids are thriving and enjoying wonderful music program, challenge, drama classes and math olympiad. They are also doing great on standardized tests. So far I have only good things to say about Waltham schools.
Posted by a parent on 3/1/2017I have 2 children at Plympton, and one on the way. The staff is terrific, very caring and involved school community. Full-time, award-winning librarian, full-time nurse, drama teacher, art teacher, music teacher... band and orchestra programs, math olympiad, challenge program. Add in on-site afterschool program, scout troops, active PTO, volunteer tutoring programs from nearby Bentley and Brandeis... outstanding elementary school!

Coming from the public school in a good district like Bedford, my kids have improved so much at OLA. The school is diverse, naturally diverse, students are from the Middle East, Africa, India, Spanish, Black, …without any nonesense of these diversity equity and inclusion methods they have implemented in public schools. OLA focuses strongly on academics, kids have homework, teachers are supportive and engaging. Students learn what is important! My girls have made friends like at no other school they have attended before and they have attended Lincoln and Bedford previously.Their hand writing has improved, reading, math and general knowledge and enthusiasm for learning has been a success! They both developed such self discipline to complete their work since they started at OLA. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a school that focuses on academics and an environment that protects your children from the craziness of the world right now!Parent Review1y ago - St Jude School
