My son loves this school. It’s enough for me to give 10/10
Posted by a parent on 3/22/2025Its horrible! Front office staff are great, Mrs. Trafficanti is awesome, the resource officer is great, but the actual school day is very difficult for my child. She always txts me to pick her up. She is incredible shy and sensitive and doesn't do well with her math teacher screaming at her!!
Posted by a parent on 3/9/2020The school building is crumbling and conditions are gross. At least one-third of the teachers are selfish, self-centered with no clue how to effectively teach. The rare good teachers are amazing though, and the arts program can only be beat by those really rich schools.

The school communications are excellent and the secretary up front is a parent favorite :) The PTO hosts numerous events throughout the year for students and parents. Most field trips are free because of the fabulous PTO fundraisers. This school had a bad rep about 8-10 years ago because of a past principal. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved our three elementary aged children to St Joes for the September 2020 school year. We were not happy with what we were seeing with COVID protocols and the push to keep kids virtual from our public school. Our son, who was in K when COVID happened, was already struggling with reading. We were unsure if we were making the right choice, but within the first few weeks I knew we did and questioned why we hadn’t made the move sooner. The teachers are incredible. Our son was getting caught up and reading on his own! Our two daughters were both thriving and loving school, their teachers and peers. I’m impressed by the curriculum and was shocked what they were missing from their time in public school. This was definitely our families COVID silver lining.Parent Review3y ago
