Louise Davy Trahan Elementary School

I know that people love this school. I want to love it too... I just have been very underwhelmed by the whole experience. I feel isolated as a parent and as though my prospective isn't valued. I don't feel like I'm entitled to much information about my child's education. I am generally a pleasant person who is able to engage others, but every time I make some effort to connect, I just feel shut out. This makes it hard for me to participate in my child's education or understand what her day looks like, or support her. She frequently states that she doesn't want to go to school, which is very different than last year at another school.
