P. Brent Trottier Middle School

This school is bad and the kids are weird and I can't play rust on the school chromebooks. It is not a HORRIBLE school but the bathrooms are filthy and it smell like trash. And some of the teachers refer to things as "Babies" and its kinda weird. Also, most of the students are not very well educated, this one girl asked "what does Solar do??? Like WHAT?????? How are you in the 8th grade and don't know what is Solar energy is. Overall, this school down bad.

This school is OK.One of the teachers are so annoying.She never goes away.It like if your on a different tab on your computer she can sense it.Then she will come running at you like the world is about to end. and there so much more but i don't feel like typing it all.

I absolutely loved my experience attending Trottier Middle School. The faculty are all kind, warm, and caring. I loved the amount of clubs and activities they offered and the experiences that I gained from those clubs. The events and speakers that Trottier got for us were amazing and the field trips we went on were exciting and very informative (Stone, Ferry Beach, and Washington DC). I still contact some of the teachers that I formed close bonds with though I do not attend the school as a student anymore. I went into Algonquin very well-adjusted, knowing how to sew and cook (very important skills), and with more knowledge than I could ever ask for. If you're moving to Southborough, I recommend sending your son/daughter to Trottier. You won't regret it. - Submitted by a former student.

My son is in his first year at Trottier, and despite the intensity of middle school as compared to elementary school, he is loving it. The teachers are very attentive and warm with all the students, so far as I can tell, and professional, and the counseling services are wonderful. The teachers are very good at responding to emails about homework questions and other issues. It's also one of the only middle schools left that has Family Consumer Science, which I think is a very valuable course. Our son comes home most every day very excited about what he has learned in school. We feel very lucky, especially having moved a year ago from another town, where we were also pretty happy with the school system.
