I was placed in this school when I was in my early pre teen life. I will remember the times When I was very depressed and seeing one staff member a firefighter lift a kid by the neck (Literally off the ground) to another room. Granted kid got out of hand but no way the right way to deal with
Posted by a community member on 1/15/2024I went to Lakeside and still suffer because of my experiences at 30. I am currently exploring the possibility of writing a book about it, and the state of our countries 'solution' to troubled youth.

The teachers and paras that we have had have been absolutely amazing, detail oriented, loving, supportive, and provide structure.Our son has loved his teachers and has built lasting friendships. We can see his academic growth, as well as his social awareness and growth as a well rounded child.We have had positive interactions with administration.
