Read what parents are saying about North Attleboro High SchoolMy son has a disability. We transferred to this school from a technical school. They were resistant to his 504 accommodations and some teacher blatantly disregarded them. His safety was often compromised and the teachers often refunded to listen when he asked for help. We eventually transferred after 4 months and countless trips tot he hospital. Most of the teachers opted to try to fail him for his inability to meet the requirements due to all the time he spent in the hospital.
Posted by a parent on 12/22/2023I only got what I needed out of this school because I had excellent fine arts instructors who looked out for our well-being and wanted us to be well-rounded people. Every other aspect of my education was infuriating. The standards were low and the school revolved around football. It was the main focus of everyone's attention and I (and many others) feel that my education suffered greatly because of this.
Posted by a student on 9/13/2019If money, social status and sports are all you care about, then this is the school for you! I have never met a more shallow, insecure group of parents in my life. Trust me, their kids are no better. As far as the staff goes, I have seen a serious lack of professionalism with some , including an assistamt administrator who doesnt understand how to politely talk to parents like an adult. Some of the teachers are dedicated and terrific. However, many of them are mediocre at best and provide a pretty "flat" experience. We are a family of educators and we have found this school to be disappointing.

Posted by a parent on 7/21/2015This is a typical average high school in a value town. The teacher quality is average. There is a mix of teachers who really care and those who seem to be waiting for the last bell to ring. Not bad but not exceptional in any way. The culture in the school is sports, sports, sports. If a student wants to fit in then they better find a sport and excel at it. The town has and maintains ($$$) two foot ball fields.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe very first thing the principal said when we had our transition meeting “just because xxxx is on the spectrum doesn’t mean we have to offer any services”. Certainly set expectations with that bold statement. We were on a stay out for the IEP our entire time there. If you are not part of the clique, they do not let you get involved at the school - as a volunteer or otherwise. Best decision ever was to transfer my little one out of there. There is currently a state block on transferring to the charter schools because many others got the same idea. Town members complain about the loss of funding to the school from the transfer students - well fix the school issues, focus on the parents and students, and win those families back. Then there wouldn’t be a loss of funding. People leave because there is an issue. Address the issue.Parent Review1y ago - St John The Evangelist School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI used to go to this school until my parents let me switch. The teachers taught you nothing and all the students run a muck. The students and teachers hate everyone who’s different and the current principal only cares about money. Everything at the school is money. And a waste too. There is no diversity at all. The teachers and principal obviously favor all the richer kids whose parents pay the school more no matter how breath takenly annoying and stuck up the kid is. The school doesn’t care about mental health at all either or the wellness of the children. Anyway I would give you a 0 but it’s not possible so I give u a 1. <33333333Student Review10mo ago
