Posted by a community member on 4/1/2023I am not sure they students are really required to consistently work hard. The homework is fairly light and not always relevant. Especially the math seems weak to me.

Mr D'Alleva(principal) is very helpful and will work with parents and kids on any issue. I think the teachers are awesome and very helpful. The PTO could use some help from new parents entering the school!
Posted by a parent on 8/18/2014Moved my son from private school to the Andrews School. Cannot say enough about this school.....from the Principal to the lunch ladies and custodians. Staff is professional and supportive. Administrators and teachers understand how middle schoolers learn and know how to deal with their ever changing emotional needs! Thank you!

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have sent my four children through this school, so I have been there for about 13 years. This is my last year at the Columbus School, and I have seen three different principals, all of whom have been highly effective and charismatic leaders. This is a very diverse school with many different ethnicities and socioeconomic background- this is not an easy school to manage. The teachers have all been quite good, with the experienced ones being excellent. Ms Devlin is especially AMAZING. What a gifted teacher.
