Kingston Intermediate School

My review is specific to the Integrated Preschool. Both my children attended and were given services for speech, OT and PT. The team is amazing and have become a 2nd family to us. They guided us and helped us get a diagnoses for our daughter who has high functioning autism - which usually is hard to diagnose in girls. Both my children loved attending and had a great foundation heading into Kindergarten.

Bay Farm Montessori Academy is a true gem! I work in education and have been in many schools/daycares over the years and Bay Farm stopped me in my tracks. Upon visiting their toddler house for the first time, the sense of peace and purpose was incredible. Watching one and two year olds work, cooperate, and connect with each other so deeply was like nothing that I have ever seen before. I couldn't wait for my child to start! I was equally blown away once I visited the Children's House (ages 2.9-Kindergarten). The classrooms are huge, with tons of beautiful, organized areas of works for the children to choose from. Learning more over the years about the Montessori philosophy of guiding the children was eye opening. The guides (teachers) observe the children so closely that they get to know them and their characteristics and how to teach them not only the curriculum, but to love learning! I am so thankful for the school, the teachers and how much my children love going to school each day.

Terrible! Everything about this school is a nightmare! My daughter attended 11 yrs finally her senior yr she decided to leave thank god for that! Don’t waste your money trust me!

The teachers were not respectful to the students, and were ineffective at handling any of the problems that the students were going through. One of the administrators treated me with disrespect and made some inappropriate comments to my child. I would not recommend this school.
