Read what parents are saying about David J. Quinn Middle SchoolGood group of teachers and building is beautiful
Posted by a parent on 8/30/2023This school continues to decline. Racist graffiti was found in the bathrooms. Bullying is still heavily prevalent. Discipline is inconsistent. The curriculum guidance is not working in certain subjects. School leadership is ineffective. The next superintendent needs to take a hard look at this school and make some drastic changes.
Posted by a parent on 5/23/2023John F. Kennedy is now Quinn Middle School. We have now added the fifth grade into a beautiful state of the art facility. I have said to others that although I believed I was an effective and good teacher before; i now believe I am better now that I have the right tools to help guide students toward greater success. I believe our biggest problems is a lack of parent support when needed or the opposite, parents who do entirely too much for their student. There are few who are in the sweet spot of having high expectations, providing needed support but then letting their children work to strive for success in an age-appropriate way. Not everyone should get an award or a pat on the back if you have done nothing to actually earn it.

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe administration at this school is selfish, they need dedicated support staff. It becomes a problem though when you have a child on IEP services and the administration won't let you work as support staff because you brought it to their attention that you know services are not being given because you have covered for a special ed teacher and her para so you know your child is not getting proper services. Then administration may have been taken to task about proper staff and your thank you for pointing out many children including your own are not getting proper services is YOUR FIRED!! The teachers however are very dedicated and kind and always do the best with what they are given, actually go over and aboveOther Review3y ago - Mulready Elementary School
