Sacred Hearts School

As a parent of 3rd and 7th graders at Sacred Hearts, I feel compelled to leave a review, as we have been exceedingly happy with our experience there over the years. Academics and faculty are top notch, specials (i.e. art, music, tech and phys ed) place an emphasis on creativity and stay current with changing trends and teaching modalities. I feel that they have come a long way in recent years in regards to inclusion, diversity and focused attention on students who may need a bit more guidance and understanding. It truly feels like a family at Sacred Hearts..they have many events that bring the community together, and parents, faculty and staff are always looking out for the students with warm, safe, and welcoming attitudes. They continue to add to an already stellar athletic program, along with many clubs such as the chess club, and Magic the Gathering club. We just truly love it there, and if anyone is thinking of sending their kids, I definitely encourage you to check it out.

Our son has been a student at SHS since Nursery school. He is now in middle school and we love the atmosphere, teachers, staff and overall curriculum of the school. We live in an area with a great school district and still choose to send our son to Sacred Hearts because we feel he is getting a superior education and also getting the structure needed to succeed later in life. There are so many different clubs and activities for the children to get involved in. The teachers truly care about the students and want them all to succeed. During Covid the school remained open and I was extremely impressed with how the pandemic was handled. My son didn't seem to fall behind, which I attribute to the school staying open and taking all the needed precautions. Overall, we have really enjoyed our time so far at SHS and are sad that it will be coming to an end in just a couple of years. It has been well worth the investment and we wouldn't change a thing!

This school is very good! The teacher's are always there for you and the academics are great. The teachers and staff are very nice. The school has so much to offer.

I am a student in 8th grade at SHS and I love it! But when I broke my leg and had to have surgery, my mom e-mailed the four middle school teachers about make-up work and only one responded. Plus I had to make up every single paper that they had; school work, classwork, homework... EVERYTHING!!!!!!! But as an overall perspective, we have great funds for the 8th grade class trip to Washington DC and many more things. On the flipside, I am glad to be a student and parishoner at Sacred Hearts!
