Overall my kids are getting a decent education, nothing outstanding, but certain teachers just need to retire. They have little to no patience with kids, always assuming the worst and prejudging a situation. One chemistry teacher in particular should NOT be around teenagers...possibly around anyone.
Posted by a parent on 11/13/2015My children feel very challenged and supported at ELHS. The teachers, the principal and VPs are always very positive and helpful. They do a good job in communicating with parents. We know our kids are in great hands and are getting well prepared for college.

Teachers are empowered and administrators are always working together with the community and parents to continually enhance all programs. Use of technology is incorporated in all aspects of learning. My children have had a positive learning
Posted by a parent on 9/30/2012Awesome district. Excellent course selections, teachers and administrators. Parent/community support is also tremendous in this district. Both of my children graduated from ELHS with excellent opportunities for college acceptance.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have found this school to have an atmosphere which allows Educators to punish very young child inappropriately.I find they discriminate, embarrass,place blame,take no responsibility and show not one ounce of empathy or compassion.The children are not the problem.They are 5and6 year old babies.They have many years ahead. There is a blonde lady who helps the special needs children on the bus after school, she is very handsy and mouthy with the kids.
