I’ve been a Rashi parent for many years and was impressed from the start. My two children have very different learning profiles, and the school has supported them both exceptionally well. My older child needs some academic and social support which wasn’t apparent during the admissions process, and t
Posted by a parent on 5/27/2026For a Jewish Day School, Rashi lacks Jewish values. We found Rashi to be unprofessional, unethical, and the school’s administrators to be highly disrespectful. There was no transparency/communication in the admissions process - after countless hours, including a ninety-minute tour and on-site assess
Posted by a parent on 7/29/2025My oldest son is in first grade at rashi and we could not be happier with the school! When looking for the best place to send him as a kindergartner we looked into several local day schools. Rashi was hands down the best choice for him and our family. Even in the midst of covid, rashi and my sons te
Posted by a parent on 1/2/2021I am the parent of three Rashi students - one recent graduate, one middle schooler, and one elementary schooler. I have been incredibly impressed with Rashi across the board for my children. One of Rashi’s strengths is the amount of attention they are able to devote to each student - Rashi students

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is my daughters first year in the Nursery program at Holy Name and I couldn't be more pleased. The staff overall is very helpful and the administration well organized. I love my daughters teacher and I am amazed at how much she has learned in one year. I would absolutely recommend this school to anyone interested in affordable private education.Parent Review4y ago - St Theresa School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe couldn't be more pleased with the experience our children are having at DCD. They are intellectually stimulated and the curriculum keeps them curious. They are learning what it means to be part of a team, whether that's through athletics or working with partners in class. They are pushed when they need to be challenged and supported when the challenge is great. They know what it means to be part of a community--and our whole family feels tied to that community. The teachers truly know the students here, and the sense of fun, energy and kindness is palpable the moment you enter campus. At DCD, the kids spend lots of time outside and doing hands-on learning; they have broad access to the arts. This school is committed to community service and public speaking; they champion kindness and curiosity, and they help students find their own way through disputes. I can't say enough good things about this school--it has truly been a gift for our family!Parent Review4y ago - Theophany School
