Fayerweather has been an engaging, exciting, challenging experience for our kids, giving them a strong sense of ownership and agency over their own educations. We see in them the self-awareness to work effectively in teams and connect with others (even or especially those that don't think or identify as they do!) - and that's a direct result of the focus on social and emotional development in the classroom and more broadly in the school. They're curious to root out patterns and systems that impact our world and the people in it, because they've been exposed to Fayerweather's rich curriculum and the critical thinking lens the teachers apply to it.Now situated in a competitive and academically challenging high school, our older child is academically ambitious, eager to partner with peers and teachers, and comfortable in their own skin. Our younger child is making the most of their last years at Fayerweather, finding voice and collaboration through creative ventures like the Unit Play, and digging into complex curricula like Shakespeare's Macbeth, Orwell's Animal Farm, and an interdisciplinary study of the history and science of regional cuisines. We're grateful we chose Fayerweather and are excited to see where this learning foundation takes our kids next!

I went to BDS a few years back, and I must say that the school was one of the best they could offer. I came from an all-boys school before, and I came to BDS around the pandemic. Belmont Day hosted great athletics programs for me (like Cross Country or Basketball), and their teachings also made more sense than when I was at my all-boys school previously. The teachers are supportive, and the school doesn't seem disconnected. I met so many kids there from various backgrounds and developed relationships with many of them over time. One thing I didn't love (although I don't believe they do this anymore as much) was that they were really on the LGBT and diversity spectrum. I have no problems with that stuff, but I felt they did go somewhat overboard sometimes. I still keep in touch with many kids there, and I'm 100% glad that I decided to transfer from my previous school (although I wish I had done it earlier). All around, the school is excellent, and if anyone is looking to give their child an excellent education and also to develop their social life, I would say this is the place to send your kid.

Lesley Ellis is a great school for curious, bright children. The teachers are engaged and thoughtful. The overall curriculum is challenging in a good way, designed to capture kids' imagination and interest. Lesley Ellis is particularly strong in the preschool and elementary programs, where social and emotional learning are just as important as academics. Throughout Lesley Ellis there is an active culture of tolerance and mutual respect. This is true at all levels - faculty, staff, and students. Fighting bias, or "anti-bias," has been a core element of Lesley Ellis' philosophy and curriculum for a long time, starting well before it became the phrase du jour. This doesn't mean the school is preachy, or that academics are neglected. Instead, kindness, self-understanding and understanding others are ideals infused throughout a typical school day - along with a solid academic foundation that prepares kids for life beyond its walls.

EFB is a warm, welcoming school with a real community feel. The teachers are wonderful, caring, and attentive, and the bilingual education is truly exceptional. Communication is strong, and the school is very responsive and supportive. The after-school activities are also great and keep growing.The school truly supports students as individuals, with thoughtful attention to different learning styles and needs. There is a strong focus on both academic excellence and social-emotional development, and students are encouraged to be curious, confident, and kind. The environment is structured yet joyful, and it’s clear that the staff genuinely cares about helping every child thrive.EFB also offers a unique cultural experience, building strong language skills while creating a sense of connection to French culture in an international setting. It’s a special school, and it’s easy to see how much dedication goes into making it a great place to learn and grow.
