My kids love this school... and it also has a great affordable after school program!!

This school is horrible! The bathrooms are disgusting, the children are ruthless, the school is run down, a few teachers just pick on the kids for no reason, the school is very full of drama, there is many fights and incidents, work or lessons cannot be completed because behavior has to be addressed but overall this school is horrible from ceiling to floor. Definitely WOULD NOT recommend. Dont even think about doing so.

This school was terrible. The teachers did nothing about bullying. People get beat up at that school and they do nothing. Hi I’m Averi Burke and when I was at that school I was in 3rd grade. I am now currently in 6th grade. The teachers were very unfair. Very rude and disrespectful. The school did not have a good leadership. One time I got in trouble because I had to use the RESTROOM.The PE teacher is very disrespectful. He yells at students if they get a move wrong. I highly recommend u DO NOT send ur child to this school.

I love this school its fun for kids

I was a student at Benjamin Franklin. I started at this school when I was in Pre-K, and I am now in the 9th grade at Lusher School. When I attended this school before Hurricane Katrina it was a magnet school meaning you had to take a test. After Katrina the school was obliged to allow any student in without taking a test. The teachers at Benjamin Franklin do not care about the child's education, they do not have a great disciplinary system at all and they just student do whatever they choose at this school. That is why I decided to leave for 8th grade at Lusher School. I will say that the only good thing about Benjamin Franklin is that it goes from Pre-K to 8th grade. I f you want your child to go to an extraordinary school send them to Lusher Charter School.

This school is really a bad school. They have a handful of teachers that teaches a bunch of kids in one room at the same time students never receive that one on one time needed that is normally available in a private school. This school leader is very unprofessional and never consistent with given information. My advice would be stay away from this school.
