This is the best school ever.Everybody is cool and there are people who are messy .The teachers are determined to teach those who want to learn.The ones who don't wan to learn are brought to detention for the day.There are people that lead you in the right direction and the wrong direction.

Vacherie Elm. is a FANTASTIC school to belong to. The teachers are great and I have never had a problem with the school. The principal and asst. principal are very kind and are always there to help you or you child. The only wish I would have, would be if they put the nutritional facts on the lunch list when we receive it every week. Besides, the problem with the nutritional facts on the lunch ( I would like to know how much and what my child is consuming for lunch ), is the parent involvement. Since my daughter was in Head Start and Vacherie Primary (before it merged), I always offered my services to help and the teachers would take me and my mother up on our offers. Now, I feel like the teachers and office staff doesn't want my services. My mother and I loved to help out. I find that the lady in the office (cannot think of her name) is not too friendly. Otherwise, I love the school. Thanks to all of the teachers for keeping my daughter a straight A student!
