Blanchard Elementary School

We love it here! So glad we moved!

I have four children oldest in high school now. Youngest just finished kindergarten. All of my kids have gone there and I couldn't have been happier with it. We chose not to move out of state just so we could keep our kids in their wonderful neighborhood schools. Thanks Blanchard for many great years. And the teachers are awesome.

This school picks on the smallest of things to get onto a child. Rarely lifting spirits and wanting a child to do better. No challenging the mind teachers. Teachers act like they are just there to collect a paycheck. No enthusiasm to support and make a child happy to be in school. Favorites are chosen at this school if you are not from the area, or in cheer or give money and time to school or classroom.

I attended this school as a child after moving across the state with my single mother. This school was a nightmare. I was ostracized and bullied relentlessly from my first day. My third grade teacher's response? Laughter. I'm not kidding. She used to laugh at me with the other kids. On a regular basis I would sit down with my lunch tray and take one or two bites before I was told to dump it and wait in the hall alone. The culture that runs rampant through the town of Blanchard is reflected in the attitudes of the children. Unless you were born and raised here- do NOT send your kids to this school. They will be beaten, bullied, abused and neglected.

It's a great school in a great community! I couldn't have asked for a better school for my children. This school is one of the main reasons I move to this area.
