I would not recommend this school. A lot of bullying. The principal is not there or always in a conference, so they say. Good teachers are leaving and going somewhere else.

the school has terrible communication. the staff , teachers are not helpful at all. I don’t recommend it.

PHS is more then a school, it's a family. I have lived in Patterson my whole life, you know your teachers on a personal level. A lot of the parents and teachers went to school together. The school does need upgrades, I graduated in 2008, and the technologywas a little out of date. It's not the schoo

I was born and raised in Patterson, Louisiana. I have attended Hattie Watts Elementary School, Patterson Jr. High, and graduated from Patterson High in 1999. Now both of my children are following in my footsteps. I have a daughter who is 12 and a son who is 7 years old who are both on a great path to success due to teamwork from this wonderful staff and faculty with that of us parents. I am so pleased to see that the funding for the school system is going to the right reasons as well. I have watched the playground equipment refreshed, the walls painted, the desks replaced, new wings added to the building, new after school programs such as science club being offered, and the list just goes on for Hattie Watts since Mrs. Fryou has taken this school under her wing. Keep up the good work!
