St. Ann School

Okay, I see there hasn’t been any recent updates on this school. So we moved here I enrolled my 2nd grader, things seem about as great as it could be between moving a new school. But here’s some things that may be a small problem for others but I’ve never in my life felt so shut out from my child’s learning. Teacher 5stars so far. They communicate thru dojo! Great, had dojo in our last state we were at! But for starters the office…. THE OFFICE! Good luck ever talking to anyone up there, tired of calling an getting a voicemail that says they are on the other line. No offense answer the phone, you have our children all day! We as parents need communication, if our child is medicated, if they are injured or whatever it may be. I’ve left over 6 voicemails, I’ve gotten no email, no call back nothing! Absolutely nothing. Completely ghosted by my child’s own school? 2nd. You can’t pick up your child unless you sit in an ungodly long line. Btw be there an hr to maybe hr and a half prior to the release time or you won’t get your child till 3:45pm. So basically you wait a get your kid quick or wait the hour a get your kid last either way 1hr min. Cannot walk up an get child either unless you live within a certain proximity. Which it’s fine I guess but when I see kids being brought to the wrong car, why can’t I park and walk up to get my child? School started Aug 11th we aren’t even out of august an this is what I’ve seen so far.Teachers are slowly gaining trust but your office staff is a nightmare, a your student pick up needs better handled. Christ you didn’t even give your cross guards walkie talkies or any info to help guide new parents. I’ve worked for school before the lack of communication will be your downfall.

I went to this school from second grade to fifth.I loved it so much i am currently in 10th grade and still talk about it.The teachers are great,so many fun activities and fun things they do.There are festivals and family events.The friendships and memories i made at this school was amazing.I would recommend any kid to go here it was the best school i’ve ever went to.

The office staff is not professional. My first time having a conversation with the principal, she came at me loud and cutting me off with anything I had to say. Her excuse was that is she very busy and that’s why she didn’t answer email from a week ago. They didn’t waste no time suspending my child and telling me the day of but when I requested a meeting about it it I had to keep nudging about it until the principal came at me so aggressively because of what an office staff member told her. She didn’t even come at me appropriately to ask what the concern is. The only reason the situation didn’t escalate is because of myself. If I met her at the level she came at me we would not have resolved anything. I almost felt like they were doing it on purpose so my concerns would not be addressed. Very disappointed. There should be a system in place for everything.

We love CCCS! Our three kids started at the ELC and are now thriving at CCCS. The staff and teachers are wonderful, and we value the friendships our children are building as well as the strong faith foundation and connection to our home church, Celebration Church
