Acadian Middle School

A teacher that spends the mahority of the day with my child says he is top of his class. Another teacher who only spends 2 hours with my child says she always has an issue. After research, she is under experienced with younger children. The expectations are unrealistic. Being that this school has a large AA demographic I’m concerned that they are misunderstood. This will be my children’s last year.

The school is now rebuilt which makes me feel better about where they're headed. The school grade has been doing better every year. I know they focus on making the kids comfortable emotionally and educationally from experience, and the teachers have been helpful. Lots of children leave other schools to come to this one, so they have to be doing something right! I feel like every school these days make us parents feel apprehensive, but this school actually makes me feel comfortable about bringing my child here.

Wonderful school,we had ups and downs more ups then downs . Our kids are the most important and this school have shown me that they put the kids first. Thanks

It was Horrible! I would not recommend this school to anyone.

Anti LBGTQ, anti Women and anti Cajun Culture. Any person who sends their children here are abusing that child.

You are family only if you financially support the school.

I would give this school no stars at all! The WORSE school EVER! No discipline, no communication, no NOTHING! Do yourself a favor and do not send your kids here! My kids were pulled out to go to the public school system and it was something that should have been done years AGO! Not only are the kids out of control, my kids were also bullied by the teacher & substitute. When you need assistance or need to speak to the principal or need any information the office is clueless and rude. They have teacher turnover every month it seems and the teachers can't even control the classroom. I can go on and on... worse school EVER!!
