Within a week, the teacher told me that me child had ADD and he would be put detention if he did not go on medication. I was completely shocked as he had been in private school since PK2 and I have never had an issue. Since

IF THE TEACHERS ARE TEACHING, THE KIDS SHOULD NOT HAVE TO TAKE PRACTICE TESTS.The school is only concerned about their rating. SO SAD, SO VE

My son was tested for adhd and when I went to the asst primcipal and teacher they would not make any accomodatuons because he was not failing. They were more concerned about the

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI taught at this school years ago and I really enjoyed my experience at this school. I previously taught at a school in Ascension Parish and I hated it. At Henry Ford the students can actually read and comprehend what they read. At the school I worked at in Ascension Parish, I was lucky to have an eighth grade student read on a second grade level. At my school in Ascension we knew a couple of weeks prior to evaluation that the school was going to be evaluated and we went to the perfect school role and acted like a good school is supposed to act. It was nothing but a horse and pony show. When I accepted a job at Henry Ford, I thought that I died and went to heaven. I had no problems with the students and I was amazed at how efficient Henry Ford was. When some people told me that Henry Ford was the worst school in Jefferson Parish, I told those people that they sure didn't know what the word worst really meant. My only regret was that I wished that I had started my career working at a school in Jefferson Parish. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe worst school ever. My son never had a problem with pink eye until we enrolled him in this school. Once you enter the school , it smells like your in the middle of bourbon street.. yes urine smell.It was many students in my daughter’s class that didn’t speak English but spoke only Spanish. My daughter, 8 y/o at the time , was told to help those students and she doesn’t speak Spanish. No program to help foreign students learn English- just throwing them in a school without knowing anything. Carpool is probably the most organized. They don’t even ask for id when checking your student out! J.S. was in the second grade at the time. I have to Federal lawsuits and the school and the school board and JPSO Sheriff Lopinto . It's small and Family oriented. They have sports. A helps class after school. I love that it's faith based. My daughters really enjoyed this school. They felt like they were ready and well prepared.
