5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have three children at this school. This year (2014-15) I am very disappointed with the new staff and principle . So far this year, a lot of parents have noticed the lack of organization and the snooty attitudes. I think the school has been ran better and hope to see a change in the future as our children deserve it!Parent Review11y ago3 Reviews - Mcdonogh #26 Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school was the most challenging educational environment I have encountered in my career. The school suffers from a severe lack of care and understanding from the administrative staff, which undermines the support teachers need to succeed. Additionally, there is a significant disengagement among approximately half of the student body, with many students showing no regard for their education, future success, or respect for the efforts of their teachers. Despite educators' dedication to creating meaningful lessons, the lack of motivation and accountability among students severely impacts the learning environment. If given the authority, I would advocate for a complete overhaul of the school to address these systemic issues and create a more effective and supportive educational institution.Teacher Review1y ago8 Reviews - Gretna No. 2 Academy For Advanced Studies

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter attends this school and have been for a few years now .. the teachers communicating with parents are horrible . They take forever to email you back of you have questions .. They will not take the time to make sure each kid understands the classwork instead just let them fail and never discuss with you about any problems they may be having in class that makes them have these ending results … I wish I would have kept my child at Ray St Pierre instead!! At lease their teachers keep you updated on your child needs in the classroom which would allow you to work on it at home …. Worst decision I made … There aren’t enough teachers there because they love being a teacher it’s more for just a pay checkParent Review1y ago14 Reviews - The Chartwell Center

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has been a student at WSNO since 2017, and I am very pleased with the education that has been received thus far. Waldorf education is different from the traditional American-style curriculum, but is nonetheless, overall very effective. My child LOVES school and often tells me she wishes the day was longer. Academics are strong and the teachers are dedicated to their students and their work. They are also thoughtful and easy to communicate with if there is an issue. My child also loves and thrives with the integration of movement, the outdoors, and the arts into every academic subject. At WSNO, I feel that my child is becoming an inquisitive, life-long learner, which is, above all, what I hope for in education.Do note that WSNO is not necessarily well equipped to handle the needs of exceptional learners / those with learning differences.Parent Review1y ago6 Reviews - All Sts.
