i love this school there is sometimes drama but i do not care they give great learning and super nice teachers

If you are considering enrolling your child here, know that this school is extremely religious—to the point that nearly everything else, including academics, takes a back seat. Faith-based instruction is present in nearly every aspect of the day, and the administration appears to prioritize Catholic affiliation over teaching ability when hiring. In some cases, it seems the only qualification for certain teachers is that they are Catholic. While a few teachers are genuinely talented and caring, others are underqualified, making it a gamble each year who your child will get.The overall environment is very much a “sit down and be quiet” model, with an overwhelming number of unnecessary and overly punitive rules. Average class size is about 30 students, far too high for quality, individualized instruction. In such large classes, students—especially those needing extra support—are easily overlooked.One of the most troubling issues is the school’s obsession with MAP testing scores. Their approach is aggressive, especially toward students born after March. If your child’s birthday falls after March, expect them to recommend repeating a grade. They may frame it as being “better academically” or for “maturity” reasons, even if your child is doing well and shows age-appropriate maturity. The real motive is to give students another year to develop, which in turn raises test scores: a student at the 60th percentile could move to the 70th after repeating; one in the 90th might reach 95th. These retention decisions serve the school’s statistics, not the child’s best interests.Even more concerning is how the school treats students who don’t fit its performance mold. If a child has special needs or requires accommodations, support is minimal to nonexistent. I’ve heard many reports from parents who felt the school was subtly—or not so subtly—encouraging them to withdraw their children. Inclusion simply isn’t part of the school’s culture.In short, unless your top priority is an intensely Catholic environment above all else—and you are comfortable with a rigid, test-focused, overcrowded, and sometimes unwelcoming approach—there are far better educational options available for your child.
