Posted by a parent on 4/30/2013Central is a wonderful area with wonderful schools. The principles are VERY active in teaching and having strong relations with the kids and their families. We moved here from out of state and were surprised to see that this school uses corporal punishment.. Teachers and staff are overall wonderful.

I do believe that is giving my granddaugher an excellent education. They are pushing her in reading which is so very important and continue to hone in on the basics, math, science, and social studies.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall I've enjoyed my experience with FHAE. I have two children there, and one that finished a few years back. Safe, engaging, love the arts programs... But more rigor and structure is needed in the upper grades (3-5). When my oldest left, there was quite an accelerated level of learning needed to keep up with the next grade at another academic magnet school. My child knew all of her colors and shapes before she went to the K2 and learned a lot through their teaching. They encourage contacting them at anytime and stopping in to visit.
