Central Baptist School

My daughter was enrolled in this school and she begged me to switch her schools.The kids are very rude and mean.I had talk to the staff and it was as if they didn't care.I ended up switching her schools.Now shes is very happy where she is now.

They have targeted my child as a problem child when she’s brand new to the school and is being bullied. She sticks up for herself and others and is still singled out. She’s was in 2nd grade and finished her last 3 months there and was crying before school everyday. Her teacher was rude to her and does not handle problems well. One of the faculty members hit my vehicle multiple times because my daughter was wearing shorts a smidge too short for dress down day, i simple phone call to get new clothes would have sufficed.

My child attended this school for 3 years. It's been a D rated school the whole time. Nothing has improved. There are no activities to motivate the students. No field trips. The so called field day was terrible. Communication is terrible. I send emails asking questions about my child's progress and there are no responses. There's no PTO. The teachers don't even seem to be motivated. For teacher appreciation week, I sent something for each of my child's teacher. My child was the only child in her class to give them something. One of the days she had given a candy jar to the principal. She opened the jar, took out the candy that she wanted and gave it back to my child. I thought that was so disgusting and unappreciative of her. If my child had to attend another year there, I would take advantage of the School Choice and move her somewhere else. I just don't understand why nothing is done to improve this school. I realize it takes more than the teachers. Parents have to be involved as well. This school and others like it are failing our students.

Horrible. If you have a child with accommodations or an IEP don't allow your child to attend this school. They could care less. Also, if your child is in need of an IEP, you do not want them to start it, they will stack it with information that's false and embellished so that the teachers will have a reason to not teach your child and just throw them in special education. There is no such thing as inclusion. They will lie. The administration offers no resources for teachers, because of the lack of knowledge themselves. I hated every day my child attended. Worse decision I could have ever made for my child. Had I not been an active mom that's involved and vocal they would have done the bare minimum for my child and not cared the least. One of the worse schools I have ever seen those cares only about making a day easy for one brand of students. Had an outside source not stepped in I would have sued this school, and I had all the documentation to do so.

Excellent school. My daughter has been here since kindergarten, now she is in 5th grade.

This is a fantastic little gem of a school. All of the staff will get to know your child. It truly is a special place. I have 3 children at the school, and all of them love it. Very Christ centered Institution with great teachers. Putting our children here is the best decision we ever made.
