Abbeville High School

This school is horrible. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE. the kids are spoiled, entitled and stuck up. The teachers are horrible. They don’t teach. The students and the parents are rude and messy. When you try to get help from administration they do nothing but make you feel stupid.

Mount Carmel is an excellent school. There are approximately 45 students in each grade, from pre-school through 8th grade. It is right next door to Vermilion Catholic High School, making an easy transition into grades 9-12. As of Fall 2013, all classrooms are equipped with Promethean Boards, keeping the school on the forefront of technology. Students are offered Physical Education, Music, Library, Computer Lab, and Prayer Room classes. Extra-curricular activities include football, basketball, tennis, 4H, cheerleading, Beta Club, Student Council, and more.
