Mckell Elementary School

Why does this elementary school think it’s appropriate to give a 5-year-old detention for something completely out of his control? What exactly are you teaching them by doing that? Do you know how that makes a child feel? They’re going to be confused, stressed, and anxious over something they had absolutely no control over.It’s ridiculous—honestly, some of the worst teaching and judgment I’ve ever seen. Shame on the school. No wonder the rating is so poor.

The education at Notre Dame is incomparable to others in this area. Coming from a larger city, I dreaded my child falling behind in a rural school. I had originally tried public school, and the pace was way too slow for my child. Notre Dame Elementary keeps her engaged, provides discipline and support, and most importantly, she is loved in a Christ-like manner. She is pushed to higher limits, encouraged, and because of that, THRIVES. You will not regret your decision, should you choose to send your baby to NDE. It's home.
