Highland Middle School

i hate this school. do not send your child here. I am constantly being harrassed and kids in my class make jokes about me killing myself and nothing is done. you will only fit in if you're "normal".

I recently graduated from St. Stephens and am glad to call it my home. I got a good education, but also had plenty of fun activities. Growing up with ADD and OCD has been a struggle but the staff and teachers there were always super helpful. The teachers there really care about your well-being. They also care a lot about safety. From a young age, they have taught me all about safety. I was taught things like don't talk to strangers, or don't run out into the street. They really cared about me and welcomed me into their amazing community. Thats another thing if you go there, you immediately become a part of the community. I still am today despite graduating. My experience at St. Stephens has been a great building block for my life and will be a big step in the right direction for you, or your child.

I have 3 children at this school and have been thrilled with the education they are receiving. The daily Spanish is a huge asset, as well as the Committee on Conscience program in the middle school. Our 8th graders are often accepted into the Manual MST program, a strong testament to our excellent science curriculum. Many of our middle schoolers have placed out of Algebra I and Spanish I for their freshman year of high school. The school is small enough to have a wonderful sense of a true community, yet large enough to excel. We recently earned the National Blue Ribbon Award of Excellence.

This school is incredible. We have two children who attend and they both love it. They literally get sad when school is out. I was worried it would be snobby but everyone is so nice and welcoming. Academics are top notch and teachers have all been strong. Consider looking. You won’t be sorry.
