She likes to be challenged and the school affords her this opportunity! I wish she could experience more diversity, but as they area grows so shall she. I would love to see more money be spent by our state so that outdated materials can be replaced. The PTA does a great job at Kenton to supplement the state’s deficiencies. We have great teachers at our school and need to keep them in state! so we need to find ways for state budgets to release more money to pay our teachers.Parent Review7y ago3 Reviews - Taylor Mill Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI can't find anything negative to say about White's Tower; my daughter loves going to school everyday. When my daughter (and other students) was deemed an advantaged student, the guidance counselor and her teacher met with me to have a conversation about skipping a grade or accelerating her education with the next year's coursework. My daughter and many other students were on the new cusp of Kindergarten cutoffs. This school hired a teacher with a Master's in Gifted Education to accommodate them! I didn't think I would be worrying about college so soon but my daughter wants to be a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon now! There's a reason White's Tower Elementary is the highest rated elementary school in the district (and third in all Northern Kentucky counties). It's also pretty cool that Mr. P. cares so much about his students, his faculty and the families involved.Parent Review6y ago4 Reviews - Calvary Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur son looks back in his time at CCS as his best time. He remains close to many classmates and faculty members. The school is not perfect, none are. However, when there is an issue, they deal with it and move forward. I recommend this school for any family looking for a Christ-centered college-prep education.Parent Review5y ago24 Reviews - St Cecilia Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would love to give SVA a great review. My kids have had very different experiences in the building. Child A has adhd & is a gifted student. Although they are in advanced classes they're bored often due to lack of engagement from teachers and get in trouble almost daily. They've been made to feel like the target of teachers' negativity year after year. I know my child isn't perfect, but being in trouble every single day when you're really trying your hardest is no way to go through life. They have zero focus on social emotional learning here & if your child doesn't have a 504 plan or an iep they will be overlooked... it seems at this school you have to get one for your child to get any help in any way. The teachers don't do anything with threats against other kids & the administration is even worse. I can't wait until Child A is out of this school. Child B is younger & loves SVA. They are getting great grades & have lots of friends. They've had some trouble, but mostly on the bus with bigger kids. I'm guessing Child B's experience is also different because they're in a lower grade level. I'm not looking forward to Child B reaching middle school here at all.Parent Review2y ago4 Reviews
