Highlands is a school where parents and students are made very aware of the importance of a good education where challenging classes are offered and are highly encouraged to participate in those classes and extra curriculars.
Posted by a parent on 6/1/2012I've had two sons graduate from this high school. Both are attending Centre College, one of the most prestigious colleges in the Country (search Forbes recent rating about Centre). Highlands prepared them well for the challenges presented to that at Centre.

I am involved in the PTO and the teachers are amazing, the school has just been renovated, and they have a free preschool. They also include families to be part of the school activities. That makes it fun for everyone. Great school. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is our first year at Riverview East Academy. My child is a 7th grader. So far, we love this place. My daughter is on the Volleyball team. The Principle, Teachers, Coaches and the Security are amazing. They have all made me, my child and my family feel welcome like we have been there for years. I also love the fact that there is a zero tolerance for Bullying and Principle Wolf and her staff make sure that the children stay safe and focused on learning.
