FES and FPS are great schools! The teachers and staff truly care about every child as individuals and want to see them excel, not only in academics but in life as well.

I believe this school has come a long way , They have improved a lot , they built better schools, they have hired some new staff, Teachers ect, I know they go above to help my child! My children tell me how neat the new school is, they love it!

Where can I even begin to describe Flaherty Elementary School? They are beyond great! The teachers at this school have gone out of there way to help my daughter, she attened school at Flaherty 1/2 of Kindergarten all of 1st grade and 1/2 of 2nd grade. We are Military, and are going to miss this school very much!!!!

Flaherty Elementary school had a major construction expansion a couple years ago which eliminated the use of portable trailers used for some sixth grade classes. The new design includes a second and separate set of facilities (administrative office, gymnasium, etc.) which allowed the school to add a second principal to manage the grades K-3. The buildings are modern and attractive. In addition, traffic through the school area was improved drastically with the addition of a roadway that completely encircles both schools. The new buildings and innovative approach has increased the attractiveness of the school to prospective teachers.
