Overall amazing school! Both my kids went here since kindergarten. One negative thing I’d wish they would Work on is engaging more with the shy and quiet kids more. Maybe get a buddy system together. I know I’m not the only parent who feels this way. Both of my daughters dealt with social anxiety and just overall awkwardness. My youngest one more so than my oldest. I drop my youngest off and I watch the teachers that stand outside, and they hardly even look at her. A simple hi or complement to her would make all the difference in the world to her. When you see a child having difficulties making friends you would think that these teachers would make more of an effort into helping them. Breaks my heart. But it’s a great school overall. Like I said the only negative I would have to say is they need to work on helping the shy and quiet kids get out of their shell.

Pod classrooms are not conducive with learning for many kids. We came from somewhere that had individual classrooms, my children were excelling. Here has been nothing but tears and being told our kids are struggling. If we could switch schools we totally would.

We have been extremely happy so far! Teaching staff has been wonderful. Administration keep families informed of many activities and opportunities for family engagement. We are fortunate to have the option of private education, but we are choosing Ft. Wright Elementary!

I was so excited to have my child at CRA, we read reviews, did a ton of research, and enrolled when the time was right. But now I would warn all parents away. They charge a ridiculous tuition and do not offer half of what other Montessori Schools offer. We had to move schools this year because for two years straight my son fought me about going to school every morning. Would tell me the teachers were mean, would yell at him, would make him cry. I thought it was just nerves, but I spoke to other parents and a former teacher who all said the same thing-the kids were not being treated kindly and were being yelled at and belittled. When I reported bullying happening, they didn’t even acknowledge it. There were “too many kids” for them to keep an eye on every one. Moving schools has been like night and day, my son is happy to go to school, loves his new teachers, is so much more engaged, and is just a happier kid. I feel really guilty for placing him there and giving him such a bad experience for his first few years at school. I would think twice before placing your child with CRA.
