Read what parents are saying about Warren Central High SchoolAs a student, I see that it's very diverse and equal for everyone. It's often overlooked for being a bad school, but it's the opposite. The teachers are kind and understanding, and there are way less fights compared to others. It's laid back so they don't pressure the students, but also keep them learning and engaged. It's big, but not too big to get lost. I really like this school, and it's incredibly underrated.

Posted by a parent on 11/19/2021I would rate Warren Central high school the best in the schools district and I love the school
Posted by a student on 12/7/2019Still not quite sure why WCHS gets the negative rep it gets. I graduated from here a few years ago and have nothing but positive reviews and experiences about the school. Exceptional teachers. They are so helpful, kind, and caring that I have never found that at any other school in KY. Great atmosphere and I truly loved going to school here and would truly recommend WCHS to anyone who asks me.
Posted by a community member on 11/10/2018WCHS has its positives and negatives as all schools do. Positives: ample opportunity for student involvement in numerous clubs, organizations, athletics, extra-curricular activities; numerous caring and extremely helpful faculty & staff. Negatives: many of the students and some apathetic faculty & staff! There are too many rude, sassy, loud-mouth, defiant, belligerent, hateful adolescents!!! There are rules for dress-code, public displays of affection, tardy, peer and faculty & staff respect, attendance, etc. Lots of drama and silliness is allowed to occur!!! Lots of distractions away from academics because of the gross overwhelming number of apathetic students and faculty & staff! Yes, faculty & staff - if ALL the faculty & staff would ALL be consistent about rule enforcement probably no to very few problems would persist!!! Also, once ALL the students would claim responsibility for their bad behavior and decisions the GOOD faculty could continue with their job to teach curriculum content. And for all those teachers there who spend their time on their cellphones, surfing the internet, and ignoring bad situations do WCHS and the world a favor: QUIT!!!

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey are not very informative to parents in timely manner. Information is either not given at all or not in enough time. They look for ways out of hard situations instead of finding a solution that is fact based instead of owning the problem. If I did not live in this district I would no let my children attend. It's sad there are a few good teachers who deserve a better workplace. In their case I'm glad they are willing to see a child's potential.Parent Review9y ago - Warren Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school seems to have a lot of issues. Its systems are complicated and don't work well for the children. My child has been bullied badly and disrespected by teachers. The teachers don't seem to care about the students and tend to yell instead of helping them. They also let the children do whatever they want, and they show favoritism towards certain kids. Moreover, some inappropriate comments are made around children, and the school behaves differently when certain guests are present. In my opinion, the school needs to take better action against bullying and get help to improve its discipline. I'm worried about the next generation growing up in such a negative environment.Other Review1mo ago - Holy Trinity Lutheran School

My daughter has ben there over 5 year now and we have loved every teacher better than the last - it is amazing how great the students all get along, the success of the curriculum and the popularity of the teachers! I am very impressed. We live in the county and have to drive in twice a day for her, but worth every minute of it. just wish they had a high school program too!!Parent Review13y ago - Jennings Creek Elementary
