South Marshall Elementary School

The curriculum at this school is much to limited at the high school level to be a good school for graduates. Critical areas such as math and science are in short number and participation in humanities classes including instrumental music, drama, and visual areas appear to be non existent. Teachers in some instances appear not to be evaluated. Certification in areas of instruction is questionable. Some staff members present themselves as not properly planning for class, not distributing assignments and materials in a timely manner for the students to compete assignments. Students receive emails late in the evenings for assignments due the next week. And getting materials from the teacher to complete assignments a week late then expecting them due the next day is an example of at least one teacher’s inefficiency. Again, teacher evaluations are questionable if completed at all. The grade school program is recommended. But the high school program is seriously lacking in critical education components.
