Wineteer Elementary School

My step-daughter went to Allen for Kindergarten and for the first 4 months it was good, she was put into a higher course, but then after Christmas, she was being bullied, and i brought it up to her teacher and she did nothing about, her classes mates were getting her into trouble, and she was getting Blues, but when all this started to happen her started getting Yellows, which yellow is not good. I also had a lot of problems with the lunch ladies.

The teachers and staff at this school are dedicated and completely awesome. I was upset when my son first went to this school because I had heard such awful things. The problem is NOT the school, or its staff! The problem is the parents that don't give two shakes about their children, don't make them behave or do homework, yet want to blame the school system for their children's "failures." Until more parents in this neighborhood take some responsibility and get involved, nothing will change. Teachers can only do so much.

The teachers are wonderful everyone is kind and has self respect for them and others. I highly recamend anyone who wants there children to learn and be nice and peaceful.

new admin now and the school is running great! Teachers are amazing

POOR POOR POOR communication from administration and teachers. Wait until the last minute to say anything, do not obtain documents from our past school so three weeks into school and my son is still not receiving his IEP accommodations. Have spelling tests but do not send spelling words home... "we practice in class. " no real investment from anyone....
