Read what parents are saying about Wilbur Middle SchoolI'm a 7th-grade student and this school overall is terrible, So many fights. All they do is suspend them for a few days then they come back and do it again. Teaching is basic but they yell at you and send you to the office just for talking. I get that is a bad thing but to the office is too harsh, just keep warning them until you are fed up with them. Some teachers lose their temper so fast. This school is terrible I would not recommend it.- 7th grader 9/22/2023
Posted by a student on 9/22/2023So far this school sucks, their is fights almost weekly, some of the teachers flat out don't care, they don't do much about the bullying/fights all they do is suspended them for a few days and then they go back to it (some of it is to blame the parents.) And their food looks like it came from the seven stages of hell, and the teachers aren't very helpful. So that's what I have to say about it.
Posted by a student on 11/30/2022traffic is bad and in the morning is fine and during the afternoon the traffic is bad slow and there should be left turn signal there should be 6 to 7 lane 2 lane is too small the school ends at 3:10 and until 4:00 there is a lot of cars there and there should security guards for doing road. Please add extra lanes and security guard for the road thank you
Posted by a parent on 5/4/2022This school has gotten WAY better than it used to be They have a spectrum club for all LGBTQ+ students and have anti-bullying rules and actually do something to enforce them, they have NAL (National acidemic league) where student can compete with students from other school and win awards they and they always listen to students who are struggling they will get you tutors to help and you can ask teachers for any thing, my only complaint is the food it is meh.
Posted by a student on 5/10/2021this school has some very good teachers however many teachers just give out worksheets and have us take cornell notes over a powerpoint. i was a student here for all three years and really hated it. the office is unreliable and slow. it's very hard to students struggling to get help (irl) and smart kids are always bored being the honors classes are the same as the regular and cwc classes. not much is done about bullying and teachers do not do anything. the dress code is strongly enforced and phones are only allowed during lunch

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is my daughter's 3rd year at Benton. Overall, I'm more or less happy with it and my daughter likes her school. Mr. Ruggles is an awesome PE teacher from what I've seen. Kids seem to like him a lot. The principal, Mrs. Reynolds, is friendly with the kids and appears to take pride in the school. We haven't had any very bad experiences, mostly average. I wish I could say even better things about Benton but it's just okay in my experience.Parent Review10y ago - Kensler Elementary School

His kindergarten teacher was Mrs. Smith and she still played a big roll in his schooling til we left the state he was there k-2. N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would never send my children here. Most of the teachers are extremely rude, especially when they're wrong. The staff does not properly deal with bullying. Do not send your kids here, especially if they have a learning disability.Student Review6y ago
