Read what parents are saying about Paul B Cooper Elementary SchoolIve been having major issues with my kids being bullied really bad at this school so bad my child comes home crying everyday about a kid saying my child doesnt derive to life an it even has gotten physical. I have tried to reach out to the teacher an nothing so i called the principal an she told her office lady to call me back an tell me i have to deal with it on my on an only with the in classroom teacher. Not a big fan of this school at all i like maybe 3 teachers an thats about it. The principal does not handle serious problems very well hope this changes.

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is the first year my kids have gone to this school. Both were in advanced placement in derby. White has no extra things for advanced kids. My oldest has been so board all year. When I asked for harder work or if they could do something els. I was simply told no it would take to much of the teachers time to do that. When I asked to transfer him they said no state assessments were coming up and they wouldn't. We will not be going there next year. The principal and vp also lied to me more than once and when they were caught in their lies they just denied it. This goes from saying my kid did something they didn't, to lies about policy. I would never recommend this school to anyone ever.Parent Review8y ago - Anderson Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFrom the little time we've been here, it does seem like the teacher my daughter has cares. I've talked to the principal a couple times and she seems like she wants to help. I do feel like they could do more for this school but it's the district in whole. I wouldn't put a low score for this school because even the Middle School my son goes to puts in this effort. I think they need more support. It seems like it lacks community so they have to work with what they have. I do have to say I'm not from this area.... so I might be used to something different. At our old schools when I dropped my kids off in the morning staff or teachers and the principal would be there. Greeting them as they walk in. Making sure the buses are able to pull in okay. Making sure that people aren't being irate, kids aren't getting run over. Their day didn't start when the bell rung, it started as soon as the first student stepped onto their campus. But it seems like they have a pretty normal school here compared to others.Parent Review3mo ago - Oaklawn Elementary School
