I’m literally just rating this because it’s 1am on a Friday night and I have absolutely nothing to do, thank you for reading (also uhh it’s alright but give me back my recess and also kids are kind of jerks to me and are rude to me for being autistic)
Posted by a student on 9/27/2024Indian Hills is an ok school, but there is little to no punishment for bullying, and minimal opportunities for parents to meet the teachers. The counselors are fine but don't address the real problems. On a better note, there are many extracurricular activities and class options for gifted students.

The administration and teachers are excellent, and Prairie families truly value education. The PTA is exceptional and the school has a wonderful neighborhood feel. Student relationships extend well beyond the school, with neighborhood sports teams, scout troops and other activities. The proximity to the Prairie Village shops is also a huge bonus. The PTA has been revamped and is super inclusive - always looking for new members and parent involvement. I can't recommend Roesland enough. There have been several new young energetic teachers added in the past few years, and most of the veteran teachers are stellar. There is a wholesome small town feel. Administrators and supplemental staff know your student and family members by name. They offer pre-k, wrap-around care, and several extra curricular activities. Be careful believing what you may hear about this school. We had heard horrible things about Rushton, but we decided to give it a try with our oldest. We are so glad we did!
