I went here as a kid and was severely bullied to the point I had to move schools. Teachers never helped with it and I remember to this day feeling helpless and alone everyday the two years I spent here.

My son is thriving here. He looks forward to school so very much. The teachers are highly communicative and there is a wonderful sense of community here. My youngest will also go here and I am looking forward to being involved at this school for the next 8 years. #exploreristhebest

Holy Spirit is an excellent school! We are truly blessed to be able to send our kids there. Our kids have gone to preschool there and are in elementary now. The teachers, staff, and priest do a wonderful job of helping our children grow both academically and in their faith!

Our grandson attended Wichita Friend’s School (WFS) for 2-1/2 years ’23-’25. We were immediately impressed with the goals, values, atmosphere, and amenities of the school upon our first tour conducted by the Principal, Ms. Shelly Hoffman! They are on beautiful grounds in a light and airy building. The school is “well appointed” in every way. I use this phrase rather than saying they have ample supplies, because it is almost a home away from home for the students. In addition to this, their teachers and staff are highly trained and experienced! WFS places strong emphasis on citizenship - character and manners, and teaching the children to be respectful of one another. They help the students work through any disputes by encouraging each child to share the feelings that motivated their actions, and then help them plan out a better way to communicate constructively and solve problems with their classmates. Each child is respected, treated with the love, kind-hearted discipline and tolerance that each of us strives to treat our own children with! The small class size allows teachers to work with students at individual levels. At times, classes are made up of more than one grade level. This fosters a mentoring spirit in upper grade children and a feeling of having older “siblings” present in the younger students. It also facilitates growth and acceleration; if those in first grade are capable of getting what their 3rd grade classmates do out of a lesson, they may! They have STEM education, and had plenty of enrichment courses and activities in Music, Library, Godly Play, Gardening, Cooking/Baking, Sign language, and Singing/Acting. WFS normally has one enrichment field trip and celebration/month! The children have more and longer recess opportunities than do the public schools, and have a family-style lunch around small tables with their classmate. In addition to the warm and relaxed, open and cooperative environment is protection of the students (double front doors with controlled access). And last but certainly not least is that our grandson left WFS WELL PREPARED educationally, and ahead of the game in math and reading when he entered a school system out of state in 2025!! We are forever grateful for the love and education, WFS!!

They have a HORRIFIC bullying problem that is refused to be addressed. They placed my kindergartener on the WRONG school bus home. Two of my children have experienced extreme bullying… to a degree that it became a mental health issue for one of our children. My son had to switch his kindergarten teacher mid way through the year because of inappropriate behavior on said teachers end. Extremely disappointed in this ‘wonderful’, ‘zero tolerance’, school. I do not trust Apollo with the safety and wellbeing of my children.
